Frequently Asked

Table Throws & Covers — Common Questions

What size table throw do I need?

Match it to the table: 6-foot and 8-foot rectangular tables are the two standard show sizes, and throws are cut specifically for each. Confirm the table size with show management before ordering — an 8-foot throw on a 6-foot table looks like a mistake from across the aisle.

What is the difference between a throw, a fitted cover, and a stretch cover?

A throw drapes loosely over the table with a relaxed fall. A fitted cover is cut with sewn corners for a sharp, tailored edge. A stretch cover uses spandex-type fabric pulled tight to the table for a modern, seamless look. Fitted and stretch cost more and photograph better; a throw is the most forgiving if the table size varies.

Are printed table throws machine washable?

Yes. Dye-sublimated polyester throws can be washed cold and hung to dry, and the print will not crack or peel because the dye is bonded into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. Avoid high heat.

How many sides get printed?

Three-sided printing is standard — front and both ends — since the back faces your staff. Four-sided printing is available and is worth it for island booths or any table that attendees can walk fully around.
